The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order for Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) baseline certification trainings in accordance with the attached RFQ and SOW.

19APR2023- this RFQ is amended to provide Q&A from industry.

- The attached RFQ and SOW were updated to clarify the address of the face-to-face facility. The address must be within 20 miles from NUWCDIVNPT as calculated by Google Maps.

- Q: Does this effort require that CISSP training providers be officially endorsed by ISC2 and only use official curriculum?

A: We require an Authorized Training Provider that is recognized by the ISC2.

-Q: When you say course completion certificate. What exactly does it mean?

A: Upon completion of the course, each participant will need Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) of participation from the offeror that identifies the provider name, course title, participant name, dates of course and Continuing Education Hours.

-Q: The SOW states “hands on with computers” but the CISSP classes mainly lectures with slides and a white board. Are computer labs expected?

A: CISSP course does not require computers.

-Q: Should the quoted price be for the training only, or should voucher costs be included?

A: The price should be for the training only and not include the cost of the vouchers.

-Q: Does the Security+ course require computers?

A: Demonstration Labs are expected to be part of the curricula. Labs are to be completed by course attendees via web-based simulation, virtual machine accounts or other media resources.
