The Town of Barrington seeks bids from qualified contractors to complete renovations to the Chianese Field Tennis and Basketball Courts located along Centennial Avenue.  These renovations include a Renovated Tennis Court, Basketball Court, and Four Dedicated Pickleball Courts.  Associated with these renovations are installation of new chain-link fencing sections and concrete flat work for future benches and all work necessary to complete the project to the acceptance of the Town.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for all interested parties at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the Project Site (in parking lot at Chianese Field located to the east of Centennial Avenue at Roffee Street, Barrington, RI). Bids are due no later than 11 a.m. March 11, 2024, at the Town of Barrington Office of the Town Manager, 283 County Road, Barrington, RI 02806.  The project is subject to prevailing wage.

Any questions by prospective Bidders concerning interpretation of the Contract Documents must be submitted by email to the Awarding Authority (send to Town Manager Phil Hervey ) and should be in its possession at least ten (10) business days before the date set for the receipt of Bids. The Awarding Authority will post at any addenda or written interpretations that it deems at least five (5) business days before the date set for the receipt of affected Bids on the bid page for this project at https://www.barrington.ri.gov/Bids.aspx .
