PTS ID 2608F, Rhode Island Contract No. 2024-CH-021, R.I. Federal Aid Project No. NHP-RESF(478) and NHPG-RESF(479), is for Pavement Improvements - Route 4 from the Lafayette Railroad Bridge to approximately 0.8 miles north of the Route 403 Interchange within the towns of North Kingstown and East Greenwich. The project extends over approximately 5.1 miles and includes the following work: micro-milling pavement, cleaning and sweeping pavement, placing tack coat, installing a friction course pavement overlay, repairing drainage structures, constructing Stormwater Treatment Units (STUs), replacing steel-beam guardrail and approach sections, replacing pavement markings, replacing rumble strips, and maintaining and protecting traffic.
